Pardon me as I embarrass myself and others
It's Monday! Mondays are good for music, right? Well, that may be so, but I'm in the mood for something else. A strike of retrospection has me in the mood to talk about friends.
Dear readers:
I hate to do this to you again so soon, but I am going to call another hiatus on mouseandhat [...]
Take a chill pill, America
Anyone familiar with my blog to this point would probably consider today's post a step away from the usual content. Yes, today I am going to talk about something I rarely discuss: POLITICS. Apologies to those readers who are not from the United States and/or don't care to hear about politics. Personally, I consider it rude to discuss matters such as religion and politics in polite company, but I'm willing to make an exception this time. As you might surmise from the title of this post, I am concerned about the attitude of political discussion in the nation today. Too often, public discourse is hijacked by the most extreme voices, fueled by anger, raging against what they believe to be a government out of control.
Pardon me, sir(s) and/or madam(s)
Apologies to any faithful readers out there, but I must take another hiatus. Personal matters have distracted me from blogging. Nothing serious, just attempting to ensure my future success in this big wide world. Keep an eye out for a possible update in a few days.

What is true is that I spent a weekend at Ohayocon, an anime/manga/video game convention, where I cosplayed and attended a few panels and took some pictures. I would now like to share my experience with you.
Product review: Clocky, the alarm clock that runs away
